Caracas, May 27. ABN.- The Venezuelan Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs Nicolas Maduro underscored that Brazil and Venezuela are working in a new kind of financial alliance strengthening the agreements between the main public banking institutions of the two countries.

The statements were made this Thursday early morning after the first work meeting with a Brazilian delegation led by the Counselor for Strategic Affairs Samuel Piñero and the Vice-Minister for Latin America Antonio Simoes.

Caracas, Jun 01 ABN.- Unemployment rate in Venezuela, which recorded 8.2% on April 2010, is one of the lowest in the world, affirmed the head of the National Statistics Institute, Elias Eljuri.

Unemployment rate during April 2010 shows a decrease of 0.5% in the indicator if compared to the rate on the previous month, which was 8.7%.

Caracas, Jun 10. ABN.- The revolution arrived when Venezuela was on the brink of an electric chaos because the capitalist governments did not invest in electricity generation for more than 25 years despite population kept growing, said the President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez.

Caracas, Jun 02 ABN.- “The recent disqualifications imposed to certain citizens to hold public posts completely abide by the law,” affirmed Deputy to the Venezuelan Parliament and constitutional lawyer Carlos Escarra.

Therefore, Escarra mentioned that the cases opened by the Comptroller General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Clodosbaldo Russian, are stipulated in article 105 of the Organic Law of the Comptroller General.
